Raba Kistner Consultants’ innovative approaches and technologies help clients eliminate some of their environmental liability by reducing landfill waste from construction projects. Whether it is glass, asphalt, environmentally affected soils, drill cuttings, or waste concrete, Raba Kistner’s in-house materials consultants have used their experience and and the capabilities of our materials testing lab to successfully reuse these products – previously considered waste – as construction materials for almost 20 years.
As an example of our materials recycling efforts, Raba Kistner’s materials consultants, engineers, and laboratory technicians can develop mix designs that incorporate recovered materials to meet Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) standards and local government regulations. Our team typically performs Daily Quality Assurance tests to document that products conform to project specifications.
