RABA KISTNER FACILITIES, INC. ANNOUNCES MATTHEW D. HENLEY, PE, HAS EARNED THE CERTIFIED FACILITY MANAGER (CFM) CREDENTIAL (San Antonio)
Raba Kistner Facilities has announced that Matt Henley, PE, CFM has earned the International Facility Management Association’s Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential. As the most prestigious and sought after credential in facility management, IFMA’s CFM sets the industry standard for measuring the knowledge and competence of practicing FMs. The CFM was the first credential in facility management and remains the only global certification for the profession.
The competency-based certification process requires a high level of facility management experience, skill and education. Certification is granted to those with proven experience across the core competency areas and who are able to pass a comprehensive exam covering all FM core domain areas.
In his project role as Project Manager for Raba Kistner Facilities, Mr. Henley manages and supports consulting programs, building distress investigations, roof repairs/replacements, structural repairs/replacements, and property condition assessments. Currently, Mr. Henley is assigned to the Texas A&M Kyle Field Redevelopment project, acting as Project Manager Structural/Architectural. Mr. Henley serves as a resource for structural/architectural design and construction issues and assists the project team with value engineering options, lead time procurement and testing requirements.
Mr. Henley received both his BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2003 and 2009, respectively, and earned his Professional Engineers (PE) designation in 2012.
