RABA KISTNER CONSULTANTS NAMES NEW MANAGER FOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN SAN ANTONIO: ERIC NEUNER, PE (1/21/2014) 

San Antonio Chris L. Schultz, PE, PMP, President and COO of Raba Kistner Consultants, Inc. (RKCI), is pleased to announce that Eric J. Neuner, PE has been selected as Manager, San AntonioEngineering. With more than 14 years of experience, Mr. Neuner is responsible for scope development, financial management, and effectively allocating corporate resources for geotechnical services.

Mr. Neuner has had the opportunity to provide geotechnical engineering services both in the Midwest and in the San Antonio, Texas area. His expertise is in the geotechnical aspects of foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, seismic evaluations, liquefaction potential, and groundwater evaluations. In his career, he has performed foundation studies, including site feasibility and forensic studies, and geotechnical construction services for the public and private sector. He has provided numerous geotechnical studies for medical facilities, educational institutions, roadways, bridges, water/wastewater utilities and treatment facilities, waste disposal facilities, recreational facilities, industrial and manufacturing facilities.

Chris Schultz said, “Eric is filling a role as our geotechnical leader in RKCI’s home town, a critical and very visible position in our company. We are fortunate to find somebody with his broad range of geotechnical expertise and solution oriented attitude to lead the San Antonio team.” Eric will work closely with Mr. Schultz and with Garland Burch, PE, who will remain a Senior Geotechnical Consultant with the firm.

Mr. Neuner has a M.S. in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla in 2001, and a B.S in Geological Engineering received in 1999 from the same university. Professional memberships include Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists, Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He has served as an officer in both the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute and the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists. Mr. Neuner has authored and co-authored numerous papers; several of which he presented at technical conferences.
