Rio Grande Valley. Isidoro Arjona, Vice President, Rio Grande Valley and Mexico offices, has announced that Joey Treviño has taken the position of Director of Business Development/South Texas. His main responsibilities are to establish and manage public and private client relationships and to participate in project pursuits with an emphasis in regional infrastructure projects.
Mr. Treviño represents the office at multiple organizations, including Rio Grande Valley Partnership, RGV LEAD, Amigos del Valley, and the Valley Initiative Development and Advancement (VIDA). His other responsibilities include assisting with strategic planning for the Rio Grande Valley profit center and its regional expansion.
Before coming to Raba Kistner, Mr. Treviño was the Executive Director of the Weslaco Economic Development Corporation, where he was responsible for the development and execution of business prospects coming to the area, and for communications with the City Commission and the Chamber of Commerce, and with the members of the public. Previous to that, Mr. Treviño was Director of Planning, Government Relations and Business Development for over fourteen years with Halff Associates, Inc.
Mr. Treviño received a BA in Liberal Arts from Texas State University, with an emphasis on Geography and Urban and Regional Planning.
