DONALD A. PETERSON, PE, HIRED AS PROJECT MANAGER II BY RABA KISTNER INFRASTRUCTURE- Austin
Russel Lenz, PE and COO of Raba Kistner Infrastructure, Inc. (RKI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raba Kistner, Inc., has announced the hire of Donald A. Peterson, PE as Senior Project Manager II. With more than 28 years and $741 million in experience in highway design and construction, Mr. Peterson will be responsible for all areas of project operations for assigned projects for RKI, including construction inspection and material testing operations, to ensure compliance with project plans, approved shop/working drawings, and specifications. He will have a special focus on South Texas energy sector roadway reconstruction projects for the Texas department of Transportation (TxDOT).
Prior to joining RKI, Mr. Peterson had an almost 30 year career with TxDOT, 20 of which was spent as the San Angelo Area Engineer. During this time, Mr. Peterson was responsible for the design of the freeway facility on the Loop 306 project, design of US 87 in Sterling and Glasscock Counties, as well as millions of dollars on various other projects in the area. Prior to taking a position in the San Angelo Area, Mr. Peterson also worked for TxDOT in the Central and South Texas areas.
Mr. Peterson has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mr. Peterson’s projects have been awarded the Design Award by the Association of General Contractors and TxDOT, and the Texas Quality Asphalt Pavement Award by the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association and TxDOT.
