Project Control Project Managers, Doyle Fontenot and Louie Rodriguez, recently received their Project Management Professional (PMP®) certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP® is the most significant industry recognized certification for project managers across the globe. Doyle and Louie combined spent over 200 hours studying for the exam that covers everything from initiating and planning to executing and closing projects.This certification adds to their credibility as a knowledgeable construction-industry professional and informs them of new ways to approach projects. Louie’s most recent projects include acting Interim Facilities Manager for Texas A&M University - San Antonio, completing the Hilliard Clinic for University Health System (UHS), and currently completing an interior finish-out for Credit Human. Outside of his role at Project Control, Louie is President of the I-LinCP San Antonio chapter and actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, AGC, St. PJ’s Children’s Shelter, and the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation.
Doyle recently completed working on the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center expansion and through that work, the City of San Antonio requested his continued representation on the City Hall Renovation and the City’s move to the previous Frost Tower. Doyle actively participates in the Army Engineer Association, the Military Officer’s Association of America, and the Boy Scouts of America-Alamo Council.
