AUSTIN, TX – Chris L. Schultz, PE, PMP, President and COO, and Paul R. Lampe, Executive VP and Co-COO, both with Raba Kistner's Engineering and Testing group, announce the promotions of Gabriel Ornelas, PE, and Isidoro Arjona, PE, PMP, F. ASCE, to the position of Senior Vice President. Their maturation as leaders and their long-term dedication and service to our Industry and Firm have been a major contributing factor in the success of Raba Kistner in Austin, Texas, and the Valley, but in other areas as well. Their commitment and actions warrant these promotions.
Gabriel Ornelas Jr., PE, PMP
Gabriel Ornelas Jr., PE, PMP, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Raba Kistner's Engineering and Testing group. Ornelas Jr. has worked for Raba Kistner for more than 20 years in various positions in San Antonio, Texas, from a laboratory technician while he was still attending UTSA, to Project Manager, to Forensics Engineering Manager. Ornelas Jr. moved his family to Austin and was named Associate. He has been serving as Vice President since 2008, responsible for the Austin Regional Office, overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing business. Gabriel is very client focused. As a result, he and his team get great client reviews for their projects. In addition, he has participated in the start-up of RK/Project Control in Austin through staff sharing and support to help grow this important group in Austin. Ornelas Jr. will continue representing Raba Kistner in the Austin Region and will also emphasize growing his business to the north of Austin in the IH-35 Corridor.
Isidoro Arjona, PE, PMP, F.ASCE
Isidoro Arjona, PE, PMP, F. ASCE, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Raba Kistner's Engineering and Testing group. Arjona has worked for Raba Kistner for more than 18 years in multiple roles. He began working with Raba Kistner in Loredo, Texas, managing their operation. He moved his family to McAllen, Texas, working as a Project Engineer and Manager and then was promoted to Associate. Arjona was named Vice President in 2012 for the Rio Grande Valley Operations as well as Ingenieros, S. de R.L. de C.V. He is the Client Manager for major clients in Mexico. His responsibilities include the growth and profitability of our Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing business and supporting the Environmental Group in the Rio Grande Valley. Arjona will continue to manage and grow Raba Kistner's operations in South Texas and Mexico as Senior Vice President.
